Game Overview

Have you ever dreamed of creating your perfect home? In Dream Home, you take on the role of both architect and interior designer. Your goal is to build a beautiful, functional, and stylish house that stands out thanks to thoughtful layout and appealing design.

Over the course of 12 rounds, you’ll choose cards representing rooms and decorations to place on your personal house board – a two-story building with an attic and a garage. Will you go for a luxurious bedroom, a spacious living room with a grand piano, or maybe a pair of cozy kids’ rooms? With limited space and random card draws, no two games are ever the same!

How to Play

Objective

Build the best-designed and fully equipped house, earning points for:

• Functional and logical room layout

• Complete and color-matched roof

• Additional features and furnishings

• Aesthetic coherence and overall project quality

Setup

• Each player gets their own house board.

• Two rows of cards are laid out: room cards and special feature cards (tools, roofs, helpers, decor, etc.).

Gameplay

• In player order (starting with the first player token – a tiny house!), each player selects 1 pair of cards from a column: one from the top row (room) and one from the bottom (roof or special).

• Place the room on your house board following basic construction rules: no floating rooms, rooms must be placed on a base or another room below.

• Combine matching room types to form larger rooms for bonus points.

• Use special cards to enhance your home, adjust layout, or gain extra points.

Roof Collection

• Players collect roof cards secretly during the game.

• A complete set of 4 roof cards in the same color earns bonus points at the end.

End of the Game

• After 12 rounds, all houses are complete.

• Players score points based on rooms, roofs, features, and overall design.

• The player with the highest total becomes the Master Home Designer!
