Game Description:

Dixit: MNK is an extraordinary card game that combines elements of storytelling, associations, and art. This unique expansion for the iconic Dixit game includes 84 cards featuring fragments of artwork from the collections of the National Museum in Krakow.

The gameplay allows players to unleash their imagination and interpret the images in various ways. Players will not only create associations but also try to outsmart others so that their card is considered the correct one. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop creativity and explore art in an unconventional way.

Objective of the Game The goal of the game is to earn as many points as possible by cleverly providing associations and guessing the narrator’s card. Additionally, various strategies can be used to mislead opponents and direct their choices toward other cards.

Game Rules:

1. Setup: Each player receives a set of cards (depending on the number of participants). The first narrator is chosen.

2. Narration: The narrator selects one of their cards and provides an association, which can be a word, sentence, quote, song lyric, or movie excerpt.

3. Card Selection: The other players choose a card from their hand that they believe best matches the given clue. Then, all the selected cards are shuffled and placed face down on the table.

4. Voting: Players (except the narrator) try to guess which card belonged to the narrator. They cast their votes by placing a token on their chosen card.

5. Scoring:

   - If all or none of the players guess the narrator’s card, the narrator earns 0 points, while all other players receive 2 points.
   - If at least one but not all players guess correctly, the narrator and the correct guessers each earn 3 points.
   - Each player whose card was incorrectly chosen by others receives an additional point.

6. Next Round: The next player becomes the narrator, and the game continues until the agreed number of rounds is played or all cards are used.

Additional Game Variants:

- Storytelling: Instead of a single association, the narrator can tell a short story or provide context for the image, which may or may not be true.
- Misdirection: Players can justify their card choices, presenting their own interpretations and sowing doubt to convince others that their card is the correct one.
- Multi-Level Clues: Players can agree that narration must consist of two or more interconnected words or sentences, increasing the challenge.
- Forbidden Words: Players may decide that narrations cannot contain certain words related to art, such as “painting,” “color,” or “figure,” forcing more creative thinking.
