Kapitan Nauka Peek! Contrasting patterns is a set of 17 carefully made contrasting cards for babies and a guide containing tips for a parent on how to use the cards to play.
Black and white and black and white contrast cards show various geometric shapes - the simpler ones, e.g. square, rectangle, circle, semicircle, and the more complicated ones: hexagon, heart, star or spiral. The pictures are adapted to the perceptual abilities of babies in the first six months of life.
The guide will tell you how to use the cards for creative play, stimulating the eyesight of babies. You will also find information about what, when and how your baby sees.
The set was prepared by the educator and therapist Anna Zych.
Peek-a-boo! is an educational series supporting the development of children from the first days of life. The publications in the series were produced in Poland with the utmost care for the safety of the youngest.
