Replaceable filter cartridges are required for optimal performance of the FLOWCLEAR ™ Filter Pumps. By regularly replacing the cartridges in FLOWCLEAR ™, you will extend the life of the pump, making the most of its capabilities. When slightly dirty, the filter can be cleaned with water from an ordinary garden hose. For heavier dirt, the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter approximately every two weeks (4 to 6 filters should be enough for a season). The filter for the Type I Bestway filter pump is designed for models with a capacity of 1249 liters / hour.

The kit includes 2 filters.
Its assembly should be carried out by an adult. After disconnecting the pump from the power supply, unscrew the cover, then remove the gasket and the filter cover. After removing the cartridge, you can start cleaning it with high-pressure water (e.g. from a garden hose).
When the filter is still heavily soiled, it will need to be replaced with a new one.
