Dream – Anniversary Edition of a Fairy-Tale Card Game
“Dream” is a unique social card game that takes players into a world of extraordinary visions, mysterious lands and dark ravens. This anniversary edition of the popular game was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nasza Księgarnia Publishing House. It features new illustrations, additional rules and alternative gameplay variants.
Each player’s goal is to create the best possible dream with as few ravens as possible. The challenge is that some cards remain face down, so players do not know the exact value of their own layout or their opponents’ dreams.
During the game, players can exchange cards, look at selected cards and use special actions that affect other players’ layouts. A good memory, careful observation and smart risk-taking are essential.
When a player believes their dream contains the fewest ravens, they can call out “Wake up!”. The round then ends, all cards are revealed and the scores are counted. Further rounds are played until one player reaches the point limit stated in the rules.
How to play
- players create their own dreams using face-up and face-down cards,
- the aim is to collect as few ravens as possible,
- during a turn, cards can be exchanged or secretly viewed,
- special actions allow players to influence their opponents’ dreams,
- a player who believes they have the best result may end the round by calling “Wake up!”,
- all players then reveal their cards and record the number of ravens collected,
- the winner is the player who manages their cards most effectively and finishes with the best overall score.
