La Nuit Étoilée – The Starry Night – Sequin Picture Kit
Create a unique, sparkling decoration featuring a glowing night sky. This creative set from the Sequins Collection allows you to make a colourful picture using sequins in a variety of shades.
“La Nuit étoilée” (“The Starry Night”) is one of Vincent van Gogh’s most famous paintings. The artist painted it in June 1889 while staying at a psychiatric hospital in France. The artwork is known for its swirling, expressive sky and the strong emotions reflected in its composition.
The polystyrene base makes attaching the elements simple and convenient, allowing the artwork to be completed step by step.
Once finished, the picture stands out with vivid colours and a shimmering surface. It can be displayed as an eye-catching room decoration or given to someone special as a handmade gift.
How to make the picture
Place the white polystyrene base inside the frame, then position the Starry Night illustration on top. Sort the sequins by colour and place them in the included storage container. Arrange the sequins in layers over the illustration, securing each one with a pin. Step by step, you will create an impressive, sparkling picture of the night sky.
The activity supports creativity, patience, concentration and fine motor skills. It is an excellent choice for fans of arts and crafts, original decorations and artwork inspired by famous masterpieces.
