Chess is one of the oldest strategy games. The game is always started by the white pawns, which gives them some initiative in the initial phase of the game. Players take turns moving their pieces according to the movement rules for a given piece and if it enters the square occupied by the opponent, it captures his piece.
A check is a threat to capture the king, which must be averted by the opponent in the next move (the king cannot be captured). Checkmate, i.e. putting the opponent's king in check, against which there is no defense, ends the game and means the victory of the player whose piece checkmates the opponent's king. A tie occurs when:
- the players have agreed on the result of the game,
- there is a stalemate on the board (one of the sides cannot make the correct moves and its king is not in check),
- neither side has the resources necessary to win (even theoretically),
- the so-called dead position, i.e. none of the players is able to checkmate even with the best play.

Checkers - each player starts the game with twelve pieces placed on the darker fields of the board on which they move. The first move is made by the player playing with the white pieces, and then the players take turns making subsequent moves. The aim of the game is to capture all of your opponent's pieces or block all of them that remain on the board, depriving your opponent of the opportunity to make a move. If neither player is able to achieve this, it is a draw. Pieces can move one square forward diagonally to empty squares. Capturing a pawn is done by jumping the adjacent opponent's pawn to the field immediately behind it diagonally (this field must be free). Captured pieces are removed from the board after the move is completed. Pawns can capture both forwards and backwards. In one move, you can make more than one capture with the same piece, jumping over the next opponent's pieces or queens.

Chinese checkers - the aim of the game is to move your pieces to the opposite corner of the board. You can move your pawn one square or jump over adjacent pawns. After jumping over one piece, you can jump over the next one. There is no capturing of the opponent's pieces and the player wins,
who will be the first to move all his pieces. The remaining players continue playing until everyone has finished.
