Family Game “Woodpecker – The Sick Tree”

“Woodpecker – The Sick Tree” is an exciting and laughter-filled dexterity game that the whole family will enjoy — both kids and adults. The main goal of the game is to chase away a mischievous little worm hiding inside the tree trunk, which is “eating” the tree rings. This task can only be done using a special woodpecker figure.

Game rules – step by step:

1. Game setup:

- Place one of the paper discs with printed tree rings into the plastic hoop.
- Insert the springy worm into the special tree trunk insert and close it from the bottom.
- Place the prepared insert inside the plastic tree trunk and attach the hoop with the paper on the outside of the trunk.

2. Gameplay:

- Players decide the order and take turns spinning the arrow on the spinning wheel.
- The wheel has 6 different sections:
Green, yellow, or blue – means the player sets the hoop so the marker points to the spun color.
Question mark (?) – the player chooses any color to set the hoop.
“X2” – the player takes two turns in a row.
“X” – the player loses their turn

Woodpecker action:

- After setting the hoop to the correct color, the player uses the woodpecker.
- Pull the woodpecker’s tail down to wind it up, then release — the bird pecks the paper, leaving a hole.
- The goal is to make as many pecks as possible to finally pierce the paper and push the worm out of the trunk.

Winning: The player who first pierces the paper and pushes the worm out of the tree trunk wins.
